State the domain, range and intercepts, if any of f.

Question below:

{e^(-x) if x < 0}
f(x) = {e^(x) if x > or = to 0}

BOTH problems within { } lie on top of each other.

What goes in? What can't go in?

These questions will help you find the Domain.

What comes out? What can't come out?

These questions will help you find the Range.

g(x) = e-x

There are no restrictions on the Domain, All Real Numbers

f(x) = e<sup>x</sup>, for x >= 0

Well, it looks like the problem statement gave us the Domain, x >= 0

You do the Range.

The Intercepts are a matter of finding g(0) and f(0). You can do that, too.
