As posted, you can have b = 0 [ you posted Q=((a-2*b)±√(a^2+4*a*b+4*b^2-8*b*c))/4 * b] you probably should have posted: Q=((a-2*b)±√(a^2+4*a*b+4*b^2-8*b*c))/[4 * b] Anyway, I am not sure what you do mean by "solution". Please expound. Please share your work with us, indicating exactly where you are stuck - so that we may know where to begin to help you.
