Need help with this question:

Evaluate the following integral:

∫(x^2-3x+7)/〖(x^2-4x+6)〗^2 dx

I'm a confuse by this question. I tried partial fraction and integration by substitution, but my working and answer is wrong. Would really appreciate if anyone can enlighten me on this question.

Thanks in advance! :D

It's impossible to tell where you went wrong or what advice you need without seeing what you tried. Please show your work. What were the denominators of your partial fractions?

You did see that \(\displaystyle x^2- 4x+ 6= x^2- 4x+ 4+ 2= (x- 2)^2+ 2\) so cannot be factored into linear terms with integer coefficients?
