Hello everyone. I am having difficulties simplifying equations with exponents that have variables and addition and subtraction in the exponents. Can you help me understand how to solve this equation:

[3^(q+3)-3^(2)(3^(q))]÷3[3^(q+4)]

My book says the answer is 2/27 but I don't know how that is possible.

\(\displaystyle \dfrac{3^{q+3}-3^2\cdot 3^q}{3^{q+5}}=\dfrac{3^{q+2}(3-1)}{3^{q+5}}=\dfrac{2}{3^{3}}\)
