When you raise a power to a power, you MULTIPLY the exponents. So,

[(-2)-2]-3 = [(-2)](-2)*(-3)

or,

[(-2)]6

Can you take it from here?

...and remember that (-2)^6 is not same as -2^6; -2^6 means -(2^6)
