Express Y in terms of u,m,b,g where g is gravity, m is mass, b is a constant. I'm not exactly sure what u is but its formed during the integration I believe. Y is a vertical component of a ball. bY is the air resisiatance mg is weight of a ball. The answer should approach terminal velocity as t goes into infinity.

This is what I've done

mg=bY

g=bY/m

du/dt=by/m Here i presume du is change in speed and dt is change in time allowing us to represent g as it is an acceleration.

du=bYdt/m

Integrate

u= bYt/m

Make Y the subject.

Y=um/bt

This is the answer I came up with but I believe it's wrong as if t does go into infinity its, the Y value becomes very small.
