factor by grouping: x^3y^2 - 3 - 3y^2 + x^3

I am having trouble working out the following:

Factor by grouping: x^3y^2 - 3 - 3y^2 + x^3

I tried taking x^3y^2 as one group and putting it with -3y^2 and then pairing the other two but it didn't work out, and than I switched a couple more times but can't seem to get it, if anyone can help figure it out that would be great. thx :D
 
x^3y^2 - 3 - 3y^2 + x^3

rearrange ...

x<sup>3</sup>y<sup>2</sup> + x<sup>3</sup> - 3y<sup>2</sup> - 3

x<sup>3</sup>(y<sup>2</sup> + 1) - 3(y<sup>2</sup> + 1)

(y<sup>2</sup> + 1)(x<sup>3</sup> - 3)
