I am having trouble factoring out (2z-1)(z+6)-(2z-1)(z-5) would 2z-1 be the greatest common factor since it appears twice and if so can someone show me the steps to solving this poblem.

Another problem that I am having trouble with this time involves factoring out polynomials by the method of grouping. It is p^2-4zq+pq-4pz. The thing that confuses me is that unlike the other problems I have done p^2 and -4zq can't be factored out by anything except for 1. If anyone can show how to solve both these equations that would be great. Thx. :D

Hints; finish 'em:

(2z - 1)[z + 6 - (z - 5)]

p^2 + pq - 4pz - 4qz
p(p + q) - 4z(p + q)
