I am trying to factor 64x^3 +1
I tried to simplify by making 64 4^3 but it doesn't help me any. Any suggestions?

Actually, that DID help you.

You should recognize the "Sum of Cubes" and "Difference of Cubes" and "Difference of Squares". These are important special cases.

(a^3 + b^3) = (a+b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)
