tkhunny Moderator Staff member Joined Apr 12, 2005 Messages 11,325 Feb 26, 2007 #2 Actually, that DID help you. You should recognize the "Sum of Cubes" and "Difference of Cubes" and "Difference of Squares". These are important special cases. (a^3 + b^3) = (a+b)(a^2 - ab + b^2)
