I am currently studying early for my upcoming summer school in financial intermediation and I found the following exercises from last years curriculum that I am currently trying to go through, however I got stuck on this one (never seen this kind before and absolutely clueless on how to do it):

i am pretty much stuck on everything here, cant even begin (it's the first part of the exercise), so would appreciate some help
