I am needing 2 numbers that = 60

The difference between THOSE 2 NUMBERS ****must be 7.****

I can come up with a difference of 6 here
33 + 27= 60 33 - 27 = 6
but the diff between these 2 numbers is *6*...........

??????????????

If, "2 numbers that = 60" means that the two numbers must ADD UP to 60, then

33 1/2 + 26 1/2 = 60

33 1/2 - 26 1/2= 7

If the two numbers must MULTIPLY to 60 (maybe that is what you mean by "2 numbers that = 60" ), then you could use 12 and 5.

12*5 = 60
12 - 5 = 7

It helps us to help you if you type your problem exactly as it is presented in your book or on your worksheet. Then we know exactly what you're being asked to do.

THANKS

Thanks That has to be it, there is no other formula that would = 7
without using the 1/2 in each number.

THANK YOU!

:O)

Helping my son with his math today and this one blew me away.
