I am a college student taking Calculus and Analytic Geometry I, and I need help finding the average rate of change to this problem. Could you please post an explanation in addition to the answer? Thank you so much, whoever solves this!

R(θ)=√(4θ+1) ; [0,2]

For explanations (in addition to your class text and your class notes), please try online lessons such as are listed here. As you read in the "Read Before Posting" announcement, we don't "do" students' work for them, nor do we give out answers. We don't generally provide much in the way of assistance until the student shows some effort of his/her own. Sorry.

Please study at least two lessons from the link. Once you have learned the basic terms and techniques for this topic, please attempt the exercise. If you get stuck, you can then reply with a clear listing of your efforts so far, at which point we can begin to work with you. Thank you! ;)

Alright, I will definitely check out the link that you have posted. As for not reading the "Read Before Posting," I apologize about that! I have been so busy this morning, so my objective was to try to find an explanation ASAP. If I need any assistance as far as explaining something, I will reply to this post.

Thank you! :)
