I'm given a table with 6 x and 6 y amounts. I'm asked to find and graph the regression model, f(t), where t is time, in minutes, an f(t) is temperature in degrees F. I have found that the graph looks like a reciprocal function but am unable to figure out how to find the model (equation) by mathematics, and on my calculator. At the end it says to check using the regression feature on my calculator. I am completely lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know...

1) how to find and graph the regression model. (I already did a scatter plot)

2) how to find the model by mathematics

3) how to check using the regression feature on my calculator. I know where it's located but there's several different regression equations.

You can use Excel to draw a graph and find the equation of the regession line. What kind of calculator do you have?.

Post your data points.

i have a ti-84 plus, and i know it does it on there i'm just unsure of how to do the stuff i posted. i thought i'd graph the regression line on the calc using the pwr-reg but it gave me an error. any ideas on the other stuff?
