I have an equation,

sqrt{3}w^2 + 5400w/w^2sqrt{3}

how would i find the derivative of it?
Working so far -

sqrt{3}x2 w/2^2 + 5400/2wsqrt{3}

Now i am stuck

From your attempts, it looks like the problem is to calculate the derivative of:

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle{\frac{\sqrt{3}*w^2 + 5400w}{\sqrt{3}*w^2}}\)

Then

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle{= \ 1 + \frac{5400w}{\sqrt{3}*w^2}}\)

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle{= \ 1 + \frac{5400}{\sqrt{3}}*w^{-1}}\)

Then the derivative of that is:

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle{= \ -\frac{5400}{\sqrt{3}}*w^{-2}}\)

Very simple - after you simplify it using correct algebra....
