Finding the domain of an equation

Hi I need help finding the domain of this equation

y=2sin 2(x-pi/4)

I got everything asked for except for the domain.the ans. is suppose to be DOMAIN: 0<orequal to X < or equal to pi

but I don't get it cuz don't you have to move to the right pi/4 as well? Like the period ends at 2pi for sin, then you compress horizontally by 1/2 which gives you pi, then don't you have to move right pi/4 so then the domain shouldn't be less than pi??

I'm confused on the graphing of this.

Is there any more information given? You can take the sine of any number, so 2(x - pi/4) can be anything, so x can be anything.
