Fractions with exponents

How do I solve these? I've worked 5 hours on these and still not getting them right. Please help!!

Oops sorry about that, it showed on mine at the time, but not anymore. Here they are:

Problem 1....
(1/10x^2 -1/2x -3/10) + (1/2x^2 + 1/4x -1/5)

Problem 2....
(1/3x^2 - 2/3)*(1/2x -1/2)

Oops sorry about that, it showed on mine at the time, but not anymore. Here they are:

Problem 1....
(1/10x^2 -1/2x -3/10) + (1/2x^2 + 1/4x -1/5) .... so add .... add the x² terms, add the x terms and so on

Problem 2....
(1/3x^2 - 2/3)*(1/2x -1/2)
