There is a rectangle that is into five equal sections. Four are colored in. That would be 4/5,right? I either forget or can't remember. Some math I forgot or did'nt learn well. I can't remember. thanks

Assuming that the rectangle represents the value "one", and that the instructions asked you to say what fraction was represented by the four coloured sections, your answer would be correct.

(There are other ways in which your answer could be correct, but there are other interpretations under which it would be wrong. Please pardon me if I guessed wrongly.)

Yes. Four-fifths of the rectangle is colored in. One-fifth of the rectangle is not colored in.
