Here's a fun question i wrote:

Five marbles with diameters of 3 centimeters are to be dropped into a sufficiently tall rectangular box with a square base of 16 square centimeters. If the highest point of the last marble dropped perfectly coincides with height of the box, what is the height of the box in centimeters? (Assume the marbles settle naturally)

(A) 3 + 4√7
(B) 3 + 5√7
(C) 3 + 8√2
(D) 3 + 10√2
(E) 12

Hint:

draw a sketch - representing the box as an rectangle with a base of 4 cm and representing the marbles as circles with a diameter of 3 cm.
