Given circle L, the measure of arc NPM=___.

looks like p can be any place between m and o, and can be anything between 70 and 250. that makes me sad.

Given circle L, the measure of arc NPM=___.

If you look at the diagram carefully, you should see that the minor arc NM and the major arc NPM together make up the whole circle.

The degree measure of a circle is 360. So,
m arc NM + m arc NPM = 360

You know the measure of arc NM is 70, because its central angle has a measure of 70. So,
70 + m arc NPM = 360

Ok...you finish it.
