I have a BIG problem with graphs. Like I don't know where to put the coordinates. Like for example. Lets say you have the coordinates (2, -9) Like where would I put the first one? Thank You SOOOOOO Much! :D

ok the first number goes on the x axis, and the second number goes on the y axis.. so like u said(2,-9) u go up 2 and 9 to the left..
hopes this helps
Daniel

or another way to say it...

go along the x axis to the 2 value and then from this point go up(or down for negative ) to the y value of -9

Are you telling us your teacher is asking the poor students in your class
to graph coordinates, but has never exposed the poor students to graph
paper and the x-axis, y-axis?
I will phone the Dept. of Education on your behalf and have him/her
arrested, fingerprinted, mugshot and whipped.
