Question - Find the point of intersection of the following two lines: x+4y=9
7x-3y=1

Rearrange your first equation to get x = something in terms of y.
Substitute that in for x in the second equation.
Solve for x. Should be solve for y.
Then use that to solve for x. Then solve for x.

Where are you stuck in graphing the two straight lines? (lesson) Are you wanting first to solve for "y="? (lesson) Or something else?
