A dump truck that can carry 5 cubic yards per load wants to dig a hole that is 24 x 30 x 6. How many trips will it take to empty the hole?

Holes are empty, by definition. It doesn't take ANY trips.

Do you mean how many trips will it take to remove all the dirt that was removed to make the hole?

Sadly, you did not mention any units on the hole. Is it 24 inches, 30 ft and 6 miles?

Assuming the hole dimensions are in yards, 24(30)6/5 = 864 trips

Assuming the hole dimensions are in feet, 24(60)6/27 = 160 trips

Assuming the hole dimensions are in in inches, use a shovel.
