Sara's paper airplane flew 8½ yards. Jason's flew 8⅔. Michael's flew 8¼ yards and Denise's flew 8 1\6 yards. Whose airplane flew the farthest?

Oh, and yes we here are always happy to help if you try to do the problem yourself (and show us your work) but just can't do it. For your problem, you might note that you only need to consider the fractions since everyone flew their plane 8 and some fraction of yards.
