Help on these 4 questions (Part 1)

Forgive me if I'm being exceptionally demanding but I have recently taken on the less of pre-calculus and am finding it hard and confusing. I'm trying my best to understand but considering how new I am, I still need help. That being said, could you please help me on the following problems:

So you're needing links to lessons on functions, function notation, function composition, and inverse functions?

If the textbook you have (I note that each problem has a "Chapter Reference" beside it) is not making it clear to you how to tackle these problems then you may benefit from reading (& working through the Exercises in) the attached PDFs:-

1.pdf covers "Sets and Functions" & "Graphs of Functions" (You may not 'require' the latter to handle these problems but it may well be where you are "going" next. ?) No Answers are included with these Chapters, I'm afraid. ?
and
2.pdf covers "Composite and Inverse Functions". (Answers are included. ?)

I would expect that you would benefit from working through both.

1) ex: If f(6)=9, then f-1(9)=6
2)The domain of f-1(x) and the range of f(x) are both the same. The range of f-1(x) and the domain of f(x) are both the same.
Note that the roles of x and y get exchanged in the inverse function and that is why the above is true.
3) Look at your notes and PDFs provided to you.
4) They gave you the domain for f(x), so finding the range for f-1(x) is trivial, using the information I mentioned above.
