you go to a store and buy 20 glass vases that are 2 meters tall and 1.25 meters in diameter. you want to fill them 2/5's full with marbles that have a surface area of 144 pi. you can only buy these marbles in packs of 20 and they cost $6 a bag. how much will it cost to fill all the vases

What is the volume (inside the vase) that you need to fill in.

You are missing the "unit of surface area".

Please show us what you have tried and exactly where you are stuck.
