the pattern for factoring the sum of two cubes may help ...

a<sup>3</sup> + b<sup>3</sup> = (a + b)(a<sup>2</sup> - ab + b<sup>2</sup>)

also, it's good to also know the factoring pattern for the difference of two cubes ...

a<sup>3</sup> - b<sup>3</sup> = (a - b)(a<sup>2</sup> + ab + b<sup>2</sup>)

... learn them both.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what this means. Are you saying that your keyboard doesn't have an "equals" character on it? If so, then just type out "equals" and then put whatever is on the other side.

Or did you mean that the instructions were not to "solve", but to "factor fully", or something similar?
