Do you know the derivative of cot(Θ)?

Integral (sin(3x+2)^(-2))
Does the above mean either of the following?

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \mbox{a. }\, \int\, \sin\left((3x\, +\, 2)^2\right)\, dx\)

. . . . .\(\displaystyle \mbox{b. }\, \int\, \bigg(\sin(3x\, +\, 2)\bigg)^2\, dx\)

If so, which one? If not, please clarify.

Either way, when you reply, please include a clear listing of your thoughts and efforts so far. Thank you! ;)
