Hello everyone. Thanks in advance for the help. I have been out of the classroom for many decades, so my recollection of solvable constraints is a bit fuzzy, and I am having trouble putting the following problem into a solvable equation, if possible. I am hoping someone can help with a real life problem I face:

My import business is subject to duties on products imported. The duties are broken down into goods that are subject to "anti-dumping duties" and "non-antidumping duty" goods. The duty rate for non-antidumping duty goods is 4.47%. The duty rate for anti-dumping duty goods is 21.55%. The duty amount is calculated off of the total value of imports, which was $26,557,858. My total duty amount paid was $4,147,214, which is comprised of duties on all goods, both antidumping and non-antidumping. Is there a way to determine the percentage of goods that were subject to anti-dumping duty based on this information.

If all the constraints have been stated in the problem - I cannot solve it with the given information.

If I understand the question, it's a simple algebra problem. If the values of ADD and non-ADD goods are A and N, then A+N=26,557,8580.2155A+0.0447N=4,147,214A+N=26,557,858\\0.2155A+0.0447N=4,147,214
Solve forA=17,330,665A=17,330,665, and the percentage of ADD goods, by value, is 65.26%.
