Help with Intermediate Physics

I hope it's appropriate to post about Physics being that it's a science, but anyways I need help finding Momentum and Velocity when only the amount of force, time, and impulse is given.
The problem reads:
"2. The driver of the compact car in the previous problem [725kg] applies the brakes hard for 2.0 s. As a result, an average force of 5x10^3 Newtons is exerted on the car to slow it down.

a. What is the magnitude and direction of the impulse, on the car?"
I found the answer to be impulse=10000 west. I don't know if my direction is right, I was just assuming since in the previous problem the car was headed east.
NOW for where I'm having trouble. The second part of my question wants me to find the momentum and velocity of the car now and my teacher didn't go over how to find final velocity or final momentum.

PS the cars initial velocity was 32m/s and my physics teacher has us round force of gravity to 10. Hope that helps.
