Help with reducing to LCD.

b = -3a -1125c
150 - 150c

Thanks in advance!
I'm not sure what you're asking. It seems to be

Reduce to LCD: [MATH]\frac{-3a-1125c}{150-150c}[/MATH]

But LCD means Lowest Common Denominator, meaning the smallest multiple of the denominators of two or more fractions. There is only one fraction here, so there is no LCD!

Do you mean "reduce to lowest terms"? That's what pka is helping you with; you can divide numerator and denominator by their Greatest Common Factor.

Another way to do this, perhaps more generally useful, is to factor the numerator and denominator first, and then "cancel" any common factors (which in this case will be 3).

Note: when you type it in, be sure to use parentheses as needed; it is not "-3a -1125c/150 - 150c", but "(-3a -1125c)/(150 - 150c)"
