I need help! I've looked over my notes for over 15 mins and I cant figure it out. ALso - is it asking me to find minor or major arc

If I were to do this problem:

I would join CL, CM and CN. I would also note that LM and MN are tangents to the circle.

Please show us what you have tried and exactly where you are stuck.

Well my textbook teaches us to use a formula like this:

I'm stuck at this part: The problem is that I'm not even sure if I'm supposed to solve for the major arc or the minor arc?! The question doesn't give us the measure of either. So I can't apply the formula they gave us...

Hi thanks for your fast reply!

mMTN + mMN = 360 degrees
Combine this with what mMTN - mMN equals (using the formula you stated).

Now you have two equations in two unknowns. Just solve this system.
