Hello. I am stuck on an assignment with scale factors and perimeters of triangles. I am given the length of the sides of one triangle, 13-29-22, and the scale factor of 4:3. I do not know how to apply the scale factor to find the perimeter of the smaller triangle. Can anyone help me out?

Calculate the lengths of each sides of the "smaller" triangle (using original lengths and the scale-factor) and then calculate the perimeter.

There is a "slightly" shorter way - that should be obvious once you traverse the longer path.....

What is the perimeter of the given triangle?

Remember that 4:3 = 8:6 = 12:9 = ... = 64:48 = 128:96 =....
