Employee has fte of 26.25

Work pattern provided was
Mon 8.15am-3.15pm
Tue- Thursday 8.15am - 3.20pm

I keep getting 26.24

Why doesn't the spread of 15min over 3 days is not the same as 15min worked in one day.
Example as in work pattern below
Mon- Wednesday 8.15am - 3.15pm
Thursday 8.15am - 3.30pm

never mind - I figured it out .. 20 min is actually 0.3333 - when using 4 decimal points the hours equal 26.2499... rounded thats 26.25

Or do the calculations in fraction:

Mon- 8.15am - 3.15pm..................................................................... → ..........................................................7 hrs.
Tue - Thursday 8.15am - 3.20pm ..............................................→............................................................... 7 + 5/60 = 85/12 hrs.
fte ..........................→ ...............................................................................................................................................7 + (85/12)*3 = 7 + 85/4 = 7 +21 + 1/4 = 28.25 hrs
