A soccer ball is pushed with a force of 15.2 N. The soccer ball has a mass of 2.45 kg. What is the ball's acceleration?

F = m a -->

a = F/m

Insert F = 15.2 N = 15.2 kg m/s^2 and m = 2.45 kg. Then you find:

a = (15.2 kg m/s^2) / (2.45 kg)= (15.2/2.45) m/s^2 = 6.2 m/s^2
