Click to expand... Is your problem: \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{x+5} \, - \, \frac{\frac{1}{5}}{x}\) then \(\displaystyle = \, \frac{1}{x+5} \, - \, \frac{1}{5x}\) \(\displaystyle = \, \frac{1}{x+5} \cdot \frac{5x}{5x}\, - \, \frac{1}{5x} \cdot \frac{x+5}{x+5}\) Now continue...
