I’m painting and need measurement help

I’m painting a Minecraft painting for self isolation and can’t figure out the math for how big each pixel should be.

The canvas is 12” x 12”
and is also 30.5 cm x 39.5 cm
The Minecraft painting has 64 x 64 pixels

Again I’m in need of how big each pixel should be. If you could help that would be greatly appreciated.

If I understand this correctly, you want to divide 12 inches into 64 equal lengths. I would compute (12/64)in and get 0.1875 in.

Hi MCP. (12 inch)/(64 pixel) reduces to 3/16th inch per pixel.

Are pixels square? If so, then each pixel on your painting will measure 3/16 inch by 3/16 inch.

You are correct I should have given my answer as a fraction. I have had other things on my mind lately.
