I need a little help here

Hi, welcome to the forum.
We are a math help forum which is different a homework solving forum. We offer help for students to solve their problem but we never solve their problems for them.
Please re-read the posting guideline, follow them and post back showing the work you have done so far. That way we know where you are stuck and what type of help you need.

first question is:

6π yards = radius of 3 yards

to get area the formula is:
A=(π) * (r)^2
so area is:

3^2 * π = 28.274333882308139146163790449516 or 0.78539816339744816798 yards

note: the teacher is trying to confuse you purposely with the odd usage of yards. First convert to decimal.

0.78539816339744816798 yards since (28.274333882308139146163790449516 / 36) is the conversion from dec to yards

teacher doesn't specify what unit the answer should be in, again to confuse you purposely
