1.Factor x2 - 121. One of the two factors is:

x2 +11
2x -11
none of the answers

2.Which of the following polynomials is NOT a perfect square trinomial?

4x2 - 4x + 1
x2 + 3x + 9
16x2 + 8x + 1

3.Which of the following polynomials can be factored as a difference of two squares?

16x2 + 1
9y2 - 1
x2 + 4x + 4
144a2 + 16

Factor completely.

4.2x2 + 40x + 200

2(x + 10)(x + 20)
2(x + 20)2
(2x + 10)2
2(x + 10)2
none of the above

5.Factor 4x2 - 20x + 25. Select the answer.

2x-5
(2x-5)2
(2x+5)2
2x+5

Next time, post x2 this way: x^2

x^2 - 121 = (x - 11)(x + 11)
Do you understand that?
If not, not much can be done here: not a classroom.
