if a fiels is 14 m by 48 m, how many meters will you save if you run diagonally across the fiels instead of running around the two sides of the fields?

If anyone can help that would greatly be appreciated!

What is the total length, if you run around the sides?

Using the Pythagorean Theorem, what is the length of the diagonal?

Subtract to find the difference in the number of meters between the two different paths.
