I needed a little help with this problem

First, I hope you understand that this is not a site where we just do your homework for you (pretty much guaranteeing that you will fail the exams) but where we help you. And, in order to help you we need to know what you can do and where you need help. You can show us that by showing what you have already tried on this problem.

Second, do you understand this notation? Do you understand what the function is? Do you understand that you need to find ∫02x2dx+∫23(x−2)dx\displaystyle \int_0^2 x^2 dx+ \int_2^3 (x- 2) dx?

And can you do those two integrals?
 
How is it going? Having difficulties with one of the integrals written by Hallsoflvy?
