I have an issue that I do not have the math skills to figure out, and I haven't had luck finding an answer searching for it on my own.

I have a random number of intervals(n), at each interval the input is a constant value©, the output(x) should be able to be plotted onto a sin curve or some sort of arcing curve that would be a falloff curve.

My terrible math-like pseudo-function:
f(c)n = sin curve based on c and n

If anyone can help, I would be super-appreciative.

Please reply with the full and exact text of the exercise, the complete instructions, and any associated table or graph. When you reply, please include a clear listing of your efforts so far, or at least information on how far you've gotten in your math (so we can try to guess how far back the lessons need to start). Thank you! ;)
