im still lost

heres the question i have to do
write each system of equations as a matrix equation. use ur calculator to solve the matrix equation. substitute to check ur answers.
if someone could help with this one i can do the rest... i think.
a+2b=2
2a+5b=3
i have a ti-83 calculator, i know how to get the inverse matrix but thats it, after that im lost
ok i found the rref but i cant figure out how to use it and i cant find it in the book

If you know how to find an inverse matrix, then you must know how to enter a matrix. So convert the system into its augmented-matrix form, and then use the "rref" option to solve.

For further information, read the relevant pages and review the examples in the chapter on matrices in your owners manual.
