Hello again. I understand the concept of implicit differentiatin but sometimes I get confused on some of the problems involving trig functions. The problem is cot(y) = x - y I think I might have part of it but I am not sure. y' of cot(y)= -sec^2(y)(dy/dx) y' of x - y = 1 - 1(dy/dx). I don't know where to go from here. I know I have to get the dy/dx on the same side and factor then divide. Does it matter what side I put the dy/dx on?
