In general, division can be defined by which equation, assuming b ≠ is not equal to 0?

a ÷ b = c if and only if c = a − b a divided by b equals c if and only if c equals a minus b
a ÷ b = c if and only if b = c ÷ a a divided by b equals c if and only if b equals c divided by a

I choose the first choice . Because it says b cannot be equal to 0. any number mulitplied by 0 is 0.
I am not so sure I supported it well,

This is how you check division.
10/2=5 since 2*5=10
18/6=3 since 6*3=18
12/3=4 since 3*4=12
a/b=c since b*c=a

Again, you can't do algebra until you know arithmetic!
