If the units for x are ft and the units for a(x) are lbs/feet, what are the units for da/dx? What does ò⁸₂ a(x) dx have?
Please let me know if I have this correct: Part 1 = lbs, Part 2 = lbs

\(\displaystyle da/dx\) has the same units as \(\displaystyle \Delta a/\Delta x\), which has the same units as \(\displaystyle a/x\): (lbs/ft)/ft = lbs/ft^2
