I have to solve the following inequality: "4x + 3 < 0". The answer given is: "x < -4/3".I make the answer "x < -3/4" as follows,

4x + 3 < 0
4x < -3 minus 3 from both sides
x < -3/4 divide both sides by 4

Where am I going wrong?

I do not see anything wrong with your answer.
