Liquid drains from a tank at the rate 7(t+2) units per minute until empty. If the tank contains 4 units at time 0, at what time will it finish draining?
So far: I know the antiderivative is 7ln(t+2)+c
and 7ln(0+2)+c=4
then ln(2)+c=4/7
then e^ln(2)+c =e^4/7 (does the e apply to the c value as well?)
then 2+c=e^4/7
then c=(e^4/7)-2
Then I know I am supposed to set the original equation with the newly found c equal to 0 to find the t value. But this is where I seem to be messing up.
