Hello, I have this problem. I have to solve for x, I tried to make it into an equation, but it just leads me into a dead end.

6y/2=2x and 12y+4x=360. Both of them led me to dead ends, I get stuck with x and y and can't solve any further.
 
6y/2=2x
3y/1=x
3y=x*1 And I couldn't go anywhere from here
and the 12y+4x=360
6y+2x= 180
3y+x=90 And I didn't know where to go from here, so it dead-ended.

Do you see that \(\Delta ABC\) is isosceles? Explain why?
Now \(2x+2x+2x=180\) How is that?
Once we know \(x\) then we can find \(y\)
 
That would make x=30. So then would I put in the other equation I made? The 3y+x=90? If I do that then y would equal 20.

You don't solve each equation. You solve them together. From the first you got 3y=x. Now substitute x=3y into the second: 3y+3y=90. Solve for y, then get x from x=3y.
