If anyone could explain how the following problem is done, it would be greatly appreciated!

For the following series, use the Integral Test to determine whether it converges or diverges:

sigma starting at j=1 and going to infinity of:
1 divided by j^pi
 
since \(\displaystyle \L \pi > 1\), try this general case, then draw a conclusion ...

\(\displaystyle \L \lim_{b \rightarrow \infty} \int_1^b \frac{1}{x^{p}} dx\) where p > 1.
