What is the trigonometric substitution i should use? Thanks very much:)
x = cos(2θ)\displaystyle x \ = \ \cos(2*\theta)

This substitution will remove   \displaystyle \sqrt \ \ from both the numerator and the denominator.

Another approach you might take is to multiply the numerator and denominator of the fraction by 1-x. This will change it to a form where a more obvious substitution is applicable (actually, two different substitutions).
